Some fun ways to help with writing skills are:
1) Speech to Text. Things such as Google’s Voice Typing feature enable users to dictate thoughts, which are then transcribed to text. It can even “listen” to the teacher’s lecture and do a decent job writing what is being said.
2) Word Prediction: Toolks like WordQ , Co-Writer, Google Docs, and Grammarly help improve spelling, grammar, and even writing speed.
3) Text to Speech: Programs like NaturalReader convert written text into spoken words, which aids individuals with reading difficulties or visual impairments.
4) Digital Graphic Organizers: MindMeister and Coggle are two programs that create visual diagrams and mind maps. These help to organize thoughts and streamline the writing process. These may also help increase visual memory of the information.

Next time I’ll be talking about using AI to aid in writing.
