Here is an easy hack for teaching a child to tie his or her shoes!
Sometimes it’s easier to add a colored rubber band around one side of the lace, just for a visual reference (“wrap the red lace around the black lace”). When I teach a child to tie shoes, I demonstrate on a shoe and have the child follow along with another shoe.
